Hi daveozric.
I, like you, initially wasn't inclined to switch to nicepage, because I was very familiar with themler.
However, as a customer I had the discount and I took the opportunity to take it.
I am currently very happy and would prefer use this
The choice that the team decided to make nicepage is clear after a while of using it.
Go faster than before.
You have to get carried away, it takes some study but I would never go back
Nicepage has some big advantages over themler.
1- For the contents go very fast, and they are very beautiful, more than 350 pages overflowing with sections.
2 - You can leave the license to the clients, pointing out that if they wanted to take it by themselves for joomla it is worth $ 129 per year.
3 - The html pages take the values with google pagespeed and gtmetrix
4 - Even with joomla I have high values google pagespeed and gtmetrix add jch optimize near 100%.
5 - For joomla there is no pagebuilder of this level
6 - For wordpress it has more competition but I still prefer this
7 - all plugins I tried with shorcode or code {} work
The only disadvantage is that there are a few options related to formatting, so in joomla I insert them with the extension "head css joomla"
Honestly, I highly recommend everyone to take it, something you want to do as well, but first of all we need to support the development team and encourage sales, if sales are going well there will be a way for them to return even on themler
