Ask a Question

Hello,
I created a site using Nicepage and I exported it as a WordPress file.
I successfully imported it into WordPress.
I need to customize the html code of the site, but, when I try to modify the homepage, WordPress uses Nicepage plugin to modify the page, and it doesn't allow me to touch the html code. How can I modify it?
Thank you.

Hi, Giacomo,

Thanks for being our customer!

How exactly do you want to customize the HTML code? You can try to use the HTML Element in the Nicepage editor (go to Element ==> HTML). Also, the HTML code can be added in Site/Page Settings ==> HTML.
The hTML source of the Nicepage page cannot be changed.

Please let us know if you need our further help.

For example: I would like to modify the operation of a button and set that once clicked it copies text. Nicepage editor doesn't offer this feature, so I want to edit it by myself modifying the html of the page. Is it possible?

Hi, Giacomo,

As I wrote before, it is not possible to change the HTML source of Nicepage pages. However, you can try to add a custom code that implements the feature that you need.

Please let us know if you need our further help.

Yes, I need to come out of this problem.
Let's say that I export the nicepage site/page as a wordpress .zip folder.
Where can I find the HTML code of the homepage inside that folder?
I tried inside index.php (it usually contains the main body of the page) but it shows nothing.

Hi, Giacomo,

Unfortunately, it is not possible to edit the HTM code this way because it may harm the structure of your theme and pages. As it was stated above, you can easily add your custom code in the editor. You can insert HTML, CSS, PHP, and JavaScript codes (for JS codes, you need to add them using the script HTML tag).

Please let us know if you need our further help.
