Ask a Question

Hi, I have two questions.
Firstly can you direct me to a tutorial on how to use the search bar in the header. The results I get are not pretty. I am building an HTML website.

Secondly, I am building a website and each time I add a new block I go and adjust it across all versions, tablet, phone etc.
If I make changes to the PC screen version later in the build or add items to a block, every other block across all the formats, everything jumps out of place and I have to redo all of the placing. It is very frustrating now and costing me a lot of time. Why is this happening.

Hi Stephen,

The Search element for the Header is for CMS export only. It uses a CMS search engine. Unfortunately, it does not include its own search engine. Therefore, it does not work with HTML websites.

There are no different Blocks for each responsive mode. This is the same Block. The responsive modes inherit styles from the Desktop mode: Desktop -> Laptop -> Tablet -> etc. Therefore we recommend that you configure the appearance of the Block elements in different responsive modes from left to right (from Desktop to Phone).

Please let us know if you have any further questions.

Sincerely,
Olivia
