RE: glsmachining.com
Issue: Links in footer appear correctly in the WP editor, but are incorrect on the live website (Please see the attached images)

I finished building a website in the Nicepage app and exported the project file and Wordpress file. In the editor the links in the "Site Navigation" section of the footer appear to be fine. But on the live website they just appear as "Site Navigation." In the NP app these are linked to specific pages. But in the WP editor they have links like [page_106219861]. (This is a frequent issue with new site imports as well.) And on the live site they are not linked at all.

I know that this is likely something related to WP menus, and I could probably figure out how to fix it myself. The issue that I am making you aware of is that it is inconsistent. Sometime sites import and the links are just fine. Other times sites will import with the links being incorrect like this. If it something that I am doing incorrectly when I build in the NP app I would appreciate an explanation so I can fix it moving forward.

The project file is attached as well, and please let me know if you need me to setup a user profile for you to log into the website.

Thank you for your help.

Hello Jim,

The button links are added as positions with empty names and as a result, widgets are created in WordPress according to the positions, see attached.

You need to either delete positions with your theme file and redo the button links as web link for further reimport of theme+pages to WordPress or delete widgets and redo the links in the editor plugin directly with WordPress.

Anna.
